The Mount Nelson’s newly-renovated restaurant has been drawing food lovers for a few months now, all wowed by fantastic décor and cuisine. With the focus on Cape Classics and fresh ingredients brought in every day, the menu is a taste journey with discoveries such as rooibos cured ostrich and crayfish ceviche with Namibian red crab remoulade. Rudi’s legendary springbok pie and tomato variation dishes will feature, as well as a daily soufflé and indulgent degustation menus for vegans, for sweet teeth and for adventurous palates. Décor-wise, the restaurant has lived up to its namesake with stars dripping from the ceiling and covering the carpeted floor, creating a beautiful atmosphere. The restaurant also offers a variety of seating options, from a private dining room to dining in the conservatory, overlooking the exquisite Mount Nelson gardens.
